Fastjet Tanzania Airline has officially launched its newest flight route between Kilimanjaro, Tanzania and Entebbe, Uganda where it’s inaugural flight commenced its operation on 31st March 2015; offering three weekly flights on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The newly route is served by fastjet Tanzania’s Airbus A319 jet aircraft, with flights departing from Kilimanjaro International Airport at 8h55 and landing at Entebbe Airport at 10h15. The return flight to Kilimanjaro Airport departs from Entebbe Airport at 10h55 and lands at 12h20. Flight time on the route is one hour and twenty five minutes.

“Fastjet has responded to requests from Ugandans and Tanzanians asking for a direct route to connect East African’s major centers of business, offering customers the lowest fares, with the most flights and best service,” said Jimmy Kibati, Fastjet Tanzania’s General Manager for East Africa.
“We are thrilled to expand this route network between Kilimanjaro and Entebbe, which are some of the busiest cities in East Africa. Our passengers can now access Entebbe in Uganda conveniently from Kilimanjaro on our very low fares while customers from Entebbe can also enjoy a larger choice of exciting destinations in Tanzania – Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro, stimulating new business and tourism traffic.” Further added Mr. Kibati.
Tickets for the Kilimanjaro – Entebbe flights have market stimulating fares starting from as low as 150,000 UGX one way, excluding luggage costs and government taxes, with the guarantee that the earlier the booking is made, the lower the fare.
