The one look that I am totally falling for at the moment is the two piece. And I am not talking about those boring grey pants and jacket office looks. No! I am loving those coloured, floral, printed and even neutral two pieces. Whether it’s a shorts and jacket, asymmetrical skirt, and matching jacket, or even cropped pants and matching jacket, this look is to die for. It’s more of stepping out in a formal, but much more jazzed up look. Remember that stitched up two piece Miley Cyrus wore to the American music awards late last year? yes that’s the one we are talking about.
This look will make you step out from the rest, even when on the red carpet. While others are struggling with their floor length gowns, you are simply striding along in your slim fitting well-tailored two piece look.
Spice up this look, by adding some colour, print, and very chic accessories. For instance, you can opt for slinging skirt and matching white two piece. Finish this off with a cute pair of strappy heels, and you are good to go.
Whether you decide to wear top beneath your jacket, is totally up to you. However, for the sake of not turning the look into trashy, then have on a matching light vest, to finish off the look.
And remember that less is more, so keep the accessories very light, so as to let your two piece stand out.
