Last evening, Hollywood’s crème de la crème gathered for the annual Grammy Awards. As always our interest was in who turned up on the red carpet ready, and who needed, on the other hand, to fire their stylist. The one trend that caught our eye was the metallic.
Taylor swift, Amber rose, Ciara, and Rita Ora all turned up in sleek metallics, looking very radiant, and definitely ready for the night.
The metallic trend has moved from just being worn in music videos, to the red carpet. From the gold, silver, and coloured metallic like Rita Ora’s green, you are definitely spoilt for choice with this trend.
Wearing the metallic trend is a little tricky. Because it stands out, it becomes a little tricky, especially with the accessory choices.
Keep your jewelry as minimal as possible, and if possible do not wear any at all. You could stick to little chandelier earrings, or ear studs, to balance out your look.
Metallics can be worn with dresses, tops, shorts, and even skirts.
If you opt for a metallic bottom, then keep your top a little toned down, but not too simple to kill the bottom metallic look.
