Joe Malaika holiday collection moves to virtual in the most unusual year. With out a doubt, the international award winning designer Joe Malaika will forever be remembered for how he pushed boundaries, influenced how we all dress and the many Facebook jobs he has offered however lack of diversity among the models on major designer runways.

Malaika still has no love for black models, we have kept an eye on how many black men or women are involved in Joe Malaika shows, usually it’s only and only him. We love his holiday collection but no black models. Joe Malaika shows are as dominated by white models as they have been since we started following him.

The vibe of this year’s holiday season could be expressed well in ” tumbiza sound track”.

Despite a history of polite and often thoughtful discussions within the industry, there are still many Fashion designers who remain curiously blind to black models

Malaika is set to debut his line in Uganda late 2021
