Uganda Cranes star Farouk Miya has thanked fans for supporting Uganda Cranes. This comes after Uganda finally ended their 39-year jinx in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Farouk Miya was the goal scorer as Uganda defeated Comoros 1-0 in their final Group D game in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers to finally secure a slot at Africa’s biggest football tournament in Gabon next year. The game was played in front of a full packed Mandela National Stadium who cheered on the team to victory.
