A number of Ugandan artistes have had a rough time with their fans in the recent weeks for being part of the Tubonga Nawe project that saw President Museveni re-elected into power.
Fans seem to disagree with the artistes over issues related to supporting the president for money under the project. Artistes like Radio & Weasel, Haruna and Bebe Cool have already faced the wrath of fans over their involvement.
Fans who had promised to abstain from all shows staged by artistes who were part of the project seem to have been more lenient with Mun*G during his “Esente Diriwo” video premiere recently. The video launched at Club Ambiance saw quite a good number of fans turn up to interact with the singer.
Mun*G who stormed the club with his entourage at about 1 am had quite a good number of fans up until 2:30am.
Whether it is the enormous love for his music or something else, Mun*G sure knows how to keep his fans close to him even in the middle of disagreements.
