When Angella Katatumba was assaulted at Chicken Tonight weeks ago, everyone was feeling sorry for her and identifying with her pain. Fast forward, the manager, waiter and security guard who were on duty that night were arrested and now await sentencing in court.
However, for singer Angella Katatumba, this is not enough yet. The singer who claims to be having a possible epilepsy issue from the assault has gone to every media house painting Chicken Tonight, the restaurant where she was assaulted from, black.
From NBS Katch Up, to NTV The Beat, to the Chat Room show, to BBS TV and several other media outlets, Angella has told the same story over and over again perhaps to get fans to rally behind her or sale her new video with Kuzi Kz called ‘Out of my head’, we are not judging.
Fans however are already judging with some asking why the singer is blowing it so much out of proportion especially after a video emerged showing that she was tipsy on the day, although she claims that she was tired and that she started the fight by throwing a bottle of ketchup at the wall, which of course doesn’t warrant the assault.
A one Samson said on Facebook; ‘Why does she do things like this. Let the court decide. I don’t see anything wrong with her anyway but she still wants to beat a man who is done.’
Stacey also posted; ‘I think she is looking for attention. If the music has failed, go back to something else.’
We wait to see how this ends.
