Musician Geoffrey Lutaaya of De Nu Eagles Production was overcome by grief of his father’s passing that he let it all out on former band mates, the Golden Band singers.

Geoffrey embarrassed the Golden band singers who had come to show support at the funeral in Masaka when he chased them from the venue and even blocked them from laying a wreath on his father’s casket saying that they have made life very difficult for him.

Social Media has been wash with comments with some siding with Geoffrey while others were against him. Most of the fans have crucified the singer for his actions.

Robert Mugalu said; “Am a fun of Lutaaya and the entire Da new Eagles band but what he did was totally wrong everyone has enemies but when it comes to death u first put your issues on a side. If they had not come he would still be very angry at them.”

Sseruyange Vicent said; “What wrong did golden do. It’s traditional more so during such a time to be there for someone even if you have your dirty background you at least cover it up for that moment because these are all artistes who one time belonged to the same umbrella group. They will always share almost the same history so it wasn’t good at all to me these are his people and they have come from far. He should never have done this.”

Dian N Tamale said; “What he did wasn’t right. Separating with someone doesn’t mean war. Everyone we meet in life is not supposed to be a part of our journey forever. People come and go and even if you have issues with someone and they come to console you at your lowest moments in life you don’t have to show them bad habits if they hadn’t shown up that would also be another battle.”

Mukasa Elvis said; “That wasn’t the right place to prove his anger to us, those are their issues, it’s shameful and regrettable, for his reputation.”

We will keep you posted.
