Music fans who attended an End of Year show in Kavumba, Nansana on Thursday this week, beat up promoters after their favourite musicians including Bebe Cool and Chameleone failed to show up at the event.
At the show, musicians Justine Nantume, King saha and Diana Kabiite entertained fans shortly before they started demanding for Chameleone and Bebe Cool who were scheduled to perform at the show.
As it was approaching midnight, beer bottles, stones and chairs were thrown at promoters and musicians who were on stage as revelers demanded for the two big artistes or their money.
Luckily, Police was at the venue and all perpetrators were rounded up and arrested. The Promoters called in musicians like Doreen Mutibwa to calm down revelers and make them happy since the bigger stars had not shown up.
