It has been circulating all over social media that the renowned news anchor Bbaale Francis has passed away but all this seems to be false as the family has come out to rubbish the rumor indicating that Bbaale Francis is very alive.
A few weeks ago, the veteran anchor was admitted for a couple of days, however, his state was not worrying and he was later on discharged and taken to his home along Entebbe road.
It was shocking for the daughter yesterday evening who was by then attending her lectures at UMCAT school of Journalism and Mass Communication when rumors started spreading like a bush fire. She could not believe it since she had just talked to him on phone.
Cissy was forced to make another call to be sure and Bbaale Francis picked up and they were able to talk. “Those are rumors as they have been,” said Bbaale Francis.
“To all that have received the news about Bbaale Francis, be informed it is a false rumor and whoever is behind it yenonyeza bibye. Bbaale Francis is alive. I just talked to him 30 minutes ago and he is still strong. Whoever is the source of that information Bbaale is alive and whoever wants him dead should hang,” said the angry daughter.
