Express FC

By Robert Kayindi James

When the tie between six-time league champions Express FC and four-time league winners Uganda Revenue Authority FC was set for November 1st, no one imagined that both sides would find themselves outside the top four especially after eleven games played by each side.

The fixture comes at a time when both side are desperate for a decent result with the Red Eagles coming into today’s clash on the back of 3-2 loss to arch rivals SC Villa while the Tax Collectors shared the spoils in a goalless draw against Police FC in their last game.

With both sides struggling for consistence and filled with a burning desire to return to winning ways, a much open game will be expected when the two local giants meet at the Muteesa II memorial stadium in Wankulukuku today evening.

Visitors URA find themselves 5th on the 16-team log with 16 point while Express are 7th with 14 points.
