Express FC has secured the services of Vipers Sports Club duo in the names of Allan Kyambadde, a midfielder and striker John Ssemazzi, on loan in a bid to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign.

Kyambadde and Ssemazzi reunite with the Red Eagles for a second stint after two and one year respectively.

Kyambadde was voted best player for the 2013/2014 season before joining the Kitende based side where he has failed to break into the starting eleven over the course of two seasons while forward Ssemazzi was also one of the Reds’ best players in the 2014/2015 campaign. He has however failed to play to the expectations of his employers after one season. The former comes in to feel the void left by the sensational Ibrahim Kayiwa who recently joined the 2016 Uganda Cup champions (Vipers) while the latter is seen as replacement to for the departed Vincent Kayizzi who joined KCCA FC.

Ssemazzi is expected partner Tony Odur in the new season to search for goals. Express’ first summer signing was Eric Musika, an ex-international for the Harambe Stars of Kenya.
