Express Football Club aka “Mukwano Gwa Bangi” yesterday launched the #ExpressAt60 campaign that will culminate with a mega celebration next season as they picked a leaf from their mates, Sports Club Villa Jogoo Salongo who celebrated 40 years of existence last year in July.

The 6-time league winners and 10-time Uganda Cup champions launched the campaign on Tuesday evening at Muteesa II Memorial Stadium after their 1-0 victory against league debutants, The Saints FC.

Former Kampala woman MP aspirant, Nakiwala Kiyingi launched the campaign to the fans that will see the Red Eagles celebrate 60 years of existence during the 2016/2017 season.

“I would like to inform our dear fans that Express FC will be celebrating 60 years since it was founded. I promise that you will see the club reach greater heights and play with some of the biggest clubs across the continent,” Nakiwala Kiyingi said.

According to the Club’s official Facebook Page, the club was founded in 1957 by the late Jolly Joe Kiwanuka with the Sabasajja Kabaka as the number one supporter.
