Express FC edge Rwenshama as Entebbe and Victoria University share spoils

At Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku, home side Express FC aka ‘Muwagizi wabanji’ edged relegation strugglers KJT Rwenshama by 2-1 in the Azam Uganda premier league.

Yefesi Mubiru and John Ssemazzi were on the score board for the ‘Red Eagles’ while Duncan Sseninde netted Rwenshama’s consolation of the game.

The win leaves Express FC 8th on the 16-team log with 31 points from 24 games while Rwenshama remained 15th on the table with 18 points from 24 games.

Elsewhere, Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) shared spoils with bottom side Entebbe FC who are under the charges of Richard Makumbi.

The result kept them (Entebbe) in their bottom spot with 14 points from 23 games while Victoria University are 9th on the table with 28 points from the same number games.
