Wankulukuku based side Express Football Club, christened “Mukwano Gwa’ Bangi” has continued with the 2015/16 season recruitment according to reports coming in from their camp.
This comes after the 2011 Uganda Premier League champions secured the services of 31-year-old winger Vincent Kayizzi and striker Tonny Odur.
“Why walk when you can fly, Vincent Kayizzi is finally at Wankulukuku,” the club posted on their Facebook page, Express Football Club Uganda.
Kayizzi is an experienced player having featured for many club across the globe. He played for the following clubs according to Kawowo: Motor Lublin Football Club in the Polish Second League, FK Srem and FK Novi Pazar in the Serbian Super League clubs, APR of Rwanda, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA F.C) and Vipers Sports Club, where he won the league title last season.
Kayizzi also played for the Uganda Cranes since 2004, featuring in 39 international games and scoring only one goal.
Meanwhile, Tonny Odur has also reunited with his former club having acquired his International Transfer Certificate from the Zambian Football Federation.
Odur joins the Red Eagles from Zambia’s Nkana Red Devils Football Club, a side he joined from KCCA FC after the 2013/2014 season.
The duo will be available tomorrow (Saturday, 29th) when Express FC entertain Maroons F.C in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL).
