Express FC aka ‘Red Eagles’are the highest winners of one of Uganda’s oldest football tournaments, the Uganda Cup. The annual sporting event was formerly known as the Kakungulu cup.
The Wankulukuku based side have won the title more times than any other side after being crowned champions 10 times for the annual competition with their last crown coming way back in 2007.
In second place is Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) who are tied with SC Villa, both sides winning the title 8 times. The tournament was however not played for the years between 1972 and 1975, just a year after its introduction.
