Exclusive: Joshua Baraka Set to Release New Album in November 2025

Kampala, Uganda – East Africa’s hottest musical export, Joshua Baraka, is back in the studio and preparing to release a brand-new album slated for November 2025. The announcement has sent waves of excitement through the music industry, with fans and insiders already speculating on what the rising star has in store.

While the album’s title and guest features remain tightly under wraps, close sources confirm that Joshua is working with a lineup of top international artists, songwriters, and producers to craft a fresh, genre-defying sound. The yet-to-be-named project is expected to mark a new chapter in his career, blending his East African roots with global sonic influences.

Baraka, who skyrocketed to continental fame with his hit single “Wrong Places,” has become a dominant force on streaming platforms. He is currently the most streamed East African artist across Spotify, Apple Music, Audiomack, Boomplay, iTunes, Shazam, and more — a testament to both his talent and growing international appeal.

Industry analysts believe this upcoming album could be a turning point not just for Joshua but for Ugandan music as a whole.

“What Joshua Baraka is doing now is bigger than just dropping an album,” a source close to his team shared. “It’s about global positioning and elevating Uganda’s sound to the world stage.”

In recent years, many Ugandan artists have released albums as a strategic move to expand their catalogues, increase digital streams, and connect with wider international audiences. However, Joshua’s approach appears more calculated, with a focus on collaborative innovation and cross-border impact.

With anticipation building, all eyes are on November. If “Wrong Places” is anything to go by, fans can expect a project that’s both sonically rich and emotionally resonant — a perfect showcase of why Joshua Baraka is the name on everyone’s lips.

Stay tuned. Joshua Baraka season is far from over.
