Jose Chameleone is set to fly out to the United States next week to seek specialized medical treatment.
According to information obtained by BigEye.ug, the Leone Island boss will travel alongside his brother Weasel Manizo to Allina Health Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, Minnesota for at least one month.
The trip and associated caretaking expenses will be facilitated by celebrated socialite Juliet Zawedde, ensuring the singer receives the best care possible.
This development comes as Chameleone faces a challenging health battle. Earlier this week, his eldest son, Abba Marcus, disclosed that the star suffers from acute pancreatitis, reportedly linked to alcohol addiction.
Marcus further revealed that medical professionals have warned his father about the severe consequences if he does not quit drinking, stating that he was given a two-year timeline to make lifestyle changes.
Chameleone was recently admitted to Nakasero Hospital, where he has been undergoing treatment. However, doctors recommended flying him abroad for advanced care.
The singer’s upcoming trip means his Christmas and New Year performance bookings will be postponed as he prioritizes his health.
