Bruno K is a talented upcoming artiste who rose to fame after redoing Radio and Weasel’s “Juicy Juicy” song. He had a quick interview with BigEyeUg‘s Seguya Musa. Here are the excerpts.
What is your real Name?
My Real name is Bruno Kiggundu.
What is your level of education?
I am graduating this year from Ndejje University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.
What kind of music do you do?
I am a versatile artiste though I love singing RnB and soul because I like my vocals.
What inspired you to start singing?
I was inspired by the American music group called West Life. I grew up listening to their music and I desired to be like them.
Which Ugandan artiste do you admire?
I admire Mowzey Radio’s style. He has a strong voice and very creative. He is simply amazing, and of course he is a hit maker.
Which record label are you signed to?
I am not signed to any record label.
Is Washington your manager?
We have a strong working relationship but he is not my manager. He is my mentor, my music guardian and he has taught me a lot of things that have helped me.
Did you seek any permission from Radio and Weasel to re-do the “Juicy Juicy” song?
I wouldn’t love to talk about that this time for varoius reasons.
Which Ugandan artiste would you love to do a collabo with?
I would love to work with A Pass and Sheebah Karungi.
Do you have any special girl in your life?
Yes, I do but I can’t reveal her name. But just know she is there.
How many songs have you done so far?
I have done 3 songs – Turning Me On ft Rabadaba, Girl Like You and Power.
What is the relationship between you and Sheebah Karungi?
She is just my Music Friend. We became friends after I re-did her Twesaana song.
