As Zari the boss lady praises her new hubby, Tanzainan singer Diamond Platnumz, the rest of the world is up in arms against their marriage. Zari who called her new man protective and loving has received backlash from relatives, friends and the general public for tying the knot with the 25-year-old musician.
“I love protective men, the type who’ll put an arm around me so I can be smothered,” Zari said after getting married to Nasibu Abdul Juma aka Diamond. Little did she know that people would spray her with insults for her marriage choice.
The first insults came from her ex-hubby’s right hand man, King Lawrence who called the wedding a sham that will not last long. In King Lawrence’s words, “This marriage is a big mistake that Diamond has made.”
Next was Ivan Ssemwanga’s close relatives who have also called the marriage a big mistake that will not take off. “That woman is old, she is now going in with a very young boy, do you expect the marriage to work?” questioned one of the relatives as she spoke to our sources.
We tried to find out why people are against their wedding and most of our respondents said that Zari who has other kids with Ivan shouldn’t have wedded Diamond just because she is pregnant for him. Others also said that Diamond is so young for the rich lady who is about to hit 40 years.
The couple tied the knot on Friday. Zari posted photos of the two in wedding attire as she said that she had finally found the one.
