Whatever your excuse for avoiding heels maybe, you cannot escape the fact that a pair of heels is a must have in your closet. You could be afraid of heights, or just terrible at walking in them, or prefer comfort over fashion. Still, there is going to be that one occasion where your ballerinas will just not work.
Be it the strappy heels, a bootie, or just a stiletto, you need a pair of heels. A pair of heels can work magic on an outfit. A little raise on the heel of a shoe can take life of a look from plain or drab to smart and glamorous. And then there is the poise; a nice pair of heels will give you that awesome poise, flat shoes cannot.
Do not worry about straining your feet and sprains, well, not if you follow our guide at least.
Heels do not mean six inches.
Not always. You could opt for something shorter, or even better, go for the kitten heels, or a sensible two inches. The trick is testing the height you can deal with for yourself, the one you are comfortable with. You do not have to conform to the messages you see in the media of Hollywood starlets and the celebrities in super high heels.
Pick a pair that compliments the majority of the outfits in your wardrobe.
Aside from helping to elevate your height, depending on the situation, a pair of heels is a confidence booster. So pick a pair you absolutely love and feel confident in. The compliments will be flowing in from all corners even half-hearted ones from fellow ladies.
Make sure they fit.
Heels are also going to help with your posture, tone your leg muscles and eventually help elevate your limbs. A sexy pair of legs in a sleek pair of heels is definitely sexy! But if your toes are spilling out of the front… aaah, out goes the sexy!
You do not have to do labels.
Just because it has a well- known tag does not mean it is going to work for you, so do not have sleepless nights. Top on your checklist should be; is it a good fit, and does it look good.
Of course if you can afford to, then go all out and splash on a stylish, and sleeker pair. You could choose from the wide range of designer shoes we have on the market. The bigger the label, the heavier the price tag will be. But at the end of the day, it’s all worth the magic it will work at that end of it all, I guess.
