Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, is incentivising travel consultants in Uganda with the roll-out of its Super Seller loyalty program which is aimed at promoting sales and recognising and rewarding the travel trade for their support in the local market.
The program will kickoff this month with the registration of all local IATA- certified travel consultants on Etihad Airways’ trade portal.
Once registered, travel consultants will earn Etihad Guest Miles based on the number of tickets they sell, allowing them to select and redeem awards through Etihd Guest, the airline’s award-winning global loyalty program. Rewards include shopping vouchers for any Nakumatt outlets in Uganda, and more than 7,000 gift items on the Etihad Airways online Reward Shop.
“The Super Seller loyalty program for the travel trade is the first of its type in Uganda, and part of our continuous engagement with travel conusultantsto ensure that they understand our product and our range of service offerings,” said ToyinAlaran, General Manager, Uganda.

Etihad Airways’ new four-times-a-week service, operated by a two-class Airbus A320 aircraft, with 16 Business Class and 120 Economy Class seats, provides business and leisure travellers with a direct service between Entebbe and Abu Dhabi, and convenient onward connections to key destinations in the GCC region, Europe, Indian Subcontinent, North Asia, Southeast Asia and Australia.
