Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, will reward travel consultants in Uganda with a trip to the 2015 F1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, one of the world’s biggest motor sporting events, as part of its “Sell and Win a Formula 1Experience” program, which is aimed at promoting sales and rewarding the travel agents for their support to the airline.

The 2015 F1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is the Middle East’s biggest international sporting event and the final race for the seventh season. The event will take place on 27, 28 and 29th November.

Through the promotion, local IATA – certified travel consultants who sell a minimum of 15 Business Class tickets on Etihad Airways stand a chance to win the prize.

“The Sell and Win a F1 experience program for the travel trade is part of our continuous engagement with travel consultants to ensure that they understand our product and our range of service offerings,” said Toyin Alaran, General Manager, Uganda, confirming that the promotion will run until 31st October 2015.

“F1is one of Middle East’s biggest motor sport series that brings together thousands of people from over 100 destinations worldwide. This is an opportunity for Uganda’s travel agents to be part of the great experience at the F1. Etihad Airways is happy to provide this opportunity to them because we appreciate the important role they play in assisting our guests in making the decision to book and fly with us, ” Toyin added.

The F1 circuit is next to the famous Yas Viceroy Hotel and also features a 60-metre solar-powered Shams Tower and a pit lane, which sees the cars exit via a tunnel passing under the track. Among other things, live concerts featuring performances by major international artists, in the past have included Price, Jay Z, Muse, Beyoncé, Aerosmith, Linkin Park, and Paul McCartney to name a few, making this one of the finest social and sporting occasions of the year.
