Social commentator and entertainment critic Frank Ntambi has been remanded to Luzira Prison until Thursday next week following charges of cyber harassment.
Ntambi was arrested on Thursday at Kabalagala Police Station, where he had gone to retrieve his phone after an earlier summoning.
His arrest stems from a case filed by music promoter Jeff Kiwa, accusing him of cyber harassment and malicious damage.
The tension reportedly traces back to Ntambi’s decision to side with singer Sheebah Karungi in her ongoing disputes with her former boss Jeff Kiwa’s camp over a song.
His outspoken stance allegedly sparked the legal battle that has now landed him behind bars.
Ntambi is expected to appear in court next Thursday, where his friends and close associates hope to secure bail for him.
