Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) president, Eng. Moses Magogo has landed himself a seat at FIFA’s high table.
Magogo who last month celebrated two years in office as the head of Uganda’s F.A has been appointed to the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) committee of Security and integrity.
According to FUFA, a special communication was sent from the office of the Secretary General of the world’s football governing body (FIFA) in Zurich.
“We are pleased to inform you that you have been appointed as a member of the security and integrity committee. We wish you success and enjoyment in this role at FIFA and look forward to welcoming you soon in Zurich,” read part of the appointment letter.
Speaking about his appointment, Magogo told the federation’s website; “I am ready to serve football. The appointment gives me the honour to take my football skills to an international level.”
Meanwhile, Magogo is also a member of CAF Inter-clubs competitions committee headed by CAF President, Issa Hayattou and will attend the meeting for the committee that is due next month in Cairo, Egypt.
