The Homes Expo is set to be opened by Hon. Ruth Nankabirwa this Saturday, 20th August at the Sheraton Hotel Gardens.
The Minister, who received a courtesy visit from Edwin Musiime, the brains behind the expo, reiterated the need to support smart cities and green buildings as climate change initiatives as we plan real estate developments.
The Homes and Gardeners Expo is expected to attract over 30 leading players in the real estate industry and will run under the theme: “Innovative solutions in the housing sector”. It will be open from 9:00am-7:00pm on Saturday and Sunday.
“This August is even more special as we celebrate 12 years of the Expo’s existence and are looking forward to hosting our visitors in an unprecedented complete live guest walk in Expo since the Pandemic hit,” says Christabel Musiime, the Expo brand head.
Christabell adds that the Homes Expo shall continue to create a platform for producers, sellers and consumers to tap into property investment in Uganda, share experiences and lessons learned by others in their quest for home ownership and infrastructural development, engage and network with prospective business partners and potential clients and engage with decision makers and government representatives to special sectors.
The Expo in partnership with Green Economy East Africa shall also witness the launching of the green economy agenda 2022 that partly aims at inspiring smart cities and green buildings.
Visitors to this year’s expo shall access the Sheraton gardens for only 10,000/= which entitles them to complimentary medical checkup by Medical Hub. They will also receive free interior designing master classes on Saturday and Sunday at 3:00pm by Rex interiors and Relate interiors.
The Expo this year shall host its visitors with a thrilling live music band performance and a family blanket and picnic experience with a bouncing castle experience for children.
