With just ten days to the clash between Uganda Cranes and the Stallions of Burkina Faso in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers, the national team head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has named a 30-man squad.
Among those summoned for national duty is Emmanuel Okwi who in the recent past had been dropped due to his unsettled football troubles.
Also named in the squad is teenage striker and Big league top scorer Edrisa Lubega who plies his trade at Proline Football Club. Lubega was part of the Cranes’ CHAN squad that played in Rwanda early this year.
The 47-year-old Serbian named his squad today morning during the weekly press conference at FUFA house in Mengo, Kampala with training scheduled to start on Friday 18th March at Nelson Mandela National stadium (outer pitch).
