It seems, after four and half years, Elijah Kitaka has finally closed his laptop and left Google. Renowned for building startups at Google across the Sub-Saharan Africa, his tenure seemed to have come to an end. His next destination? Still undisclosed.
However, Elijah, still at Google, juggled a couple of gigs. He is a co-owner of Jazz Safari that always ships in global icons on the musical arena, the likes of Gerald Butler, Joe, Keith Sweat; Jazz Safari is a sold-out jazz event. Also, Elijah presents the 10-year-old jazz show on Radio One called Jazz Evenings every Sunday evening.
Word on the grapevine says that Elijah might be coming home to concentrate more on his radio show and his jazz safari gig that seems to be overtaken by new players in the game, like the recent Billy Ocean concert. Could it be true? Ears are on the ground.
