Ugandan singer Elijah Kitaka has revealed a surprising perspective on love and music — he wouldn’t mind dating someone who doesn’t like his songs. In fact, he says he’d find it attractive.

Speaking candidly, Kitaka shared that unlike many artists who expect unwavering support and praise from their partners, he finds honesty more important than flattery.
“I would really love it. That would actually turn me on because she’s honest. Some people fake it,” Kitaka said.
To him, a partner who isn’t necessarily a fan of his music shows that they are into him for who he is as a person, not for the celebrity image or fame attached to his name.
“That would mean the person likes me as a person and not because I’m a star,” he added.
Kitaka also highlighted the reality that even in healthy relationships, partners don’t always share the same interests — and that’s okay.
“When you look at even in relationships, it’s not like we vibe to everything because we met. You don’t always have to have the same interests.”
