The Uganda National beach soccer team, the Sand Cranes continue to fight for a slot in the beach soccer finals that are due April, 2015 in Seychelles. After advancing to this stage on a silver platter when their opponents of Cameroon withdrew from the competition during the preliminary stage of qualification, Uganda will now face Ghana in the final stage of the qualification campaign.
The continental football governing body, CAF has assigned match officials from Egypt to take charge of the Sand Cranes’ clash against the Sharks of Ghana come 15th March 2015 at the Entebbe Sports Beach.
Abdel Naby Bakhit Khaled will be the main referee with El Eraky Hany Farouk and El Sabagh Wael Mostafa working as his first and second assistants. Shorbage Sameh El Shorbage will be the match Time Keeper while Seychelles’ Roch Henreitte will be the match commissioner.
