Recording Academy/GRAMMYs has recognized sensational singer Eddy Kenzo official music producer Owori Isaac Stanley aka SteyN.
The pleasant news was first shared by SteyN himself through his social media platforms as he posted a certificate of recognition having participated as producer on the Grammy Award-Nominated Recording “Gimme Love” by Matt B Featuring Eddy Kenzo.
“Grateful to the Recording Academy for this incredible honor. This certificate is a testament to the hard work and dedication that goes into creating music. Thank you for recognizing my contribution to the industry,” SteyN stated.
“Gimme Love” ballad was nominated in the category of Best Global Music Performance in the 65th Grammy Awards alongside South Africa’s music trio Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini and Nomcebo Zikode’s “Bayeth” which actually scooped the trophy.
Other contenders in the category were; Burna Boy for his well-received ballad Last Last, Udhero Na brought in Pakistani Arooj Aftab and British American Anoushka Shankar, while Neva Bow Down scored Ghanaian Rocky Dawuni and Blvk H3ro a nomination.
