Eddy Kenzo, the President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation, has expressed his support for fellow artist Kalifah Aganaga in his political aspirations.

Aganaga was officially nominated on Wednesday to contest for the Kawempe North MP seat under the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) ticket.
The seat became vacant following the passing of the former MP, Muhammad Ssegirinya, prompting a by-election.
Kenzo, while speaking about Aganaga’s candidacy, shared that he can only offer prayers and blessings for his journey.
“I can only offer him blessings and prayers in this bid. He is a man who loves politics and has tried numerous times, so I wish him well,” Kenzo stated.
Meanwhile, Kenzo also responded to recent remarks by fellow musician King Saha. Without diving into details, he dismissed the criticism, stating that he does not engage in “cheap talks” and that everyone is entitled to their opinion regarding him or his leadership.
