Musician Eddy Kenzo has been tipped for a tourism deal from government.
The singer who didn’t take part in Tubonga Nawe and promised never to be part of NRM organized things could change his stand soon. This after the Tourism State Minister Kiwanda Suubi said that the ministry is working on a package for artistes like Eddy Kenzo to promote Ugandan national parks by holding concerts at the parks and having fans come to attend.
The minister revealed this yesterday while speaking about Eddy Kenzo’s concert that will happen this Friday. He said that they will be taking musicians to the national parks to perform from there.
“I am positive that this will improve on the number of tourists who have been coming to Uganda,” the minister said.
Kenzo was also clear at the press conference that he has done all possible in the countries that he has visited to make sure that the Ugandan flag is raised high and they have knowledge about our country and culture.
“This will blend in very well with the tourism strategy of Uganda as a country and Kenzo could be the man for the job,” said one of our sources at the ministry.
We will keep you posted.
