In a recent development, the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) President Eddy Kenzo has addressed the concerns raised by Ms. Jane Kasuubo, the mother of the late singer Mowzey Radio.
Ms. Kasuubo has been seeking assistance to secure a piece of land worth UGX 350 million, where her son’s grave is located.
Eddy Kenzo confirmed that Ms. Kasuubo had approached him about the issue. He acknowledged the significant amount of money involved and shared his interaction with the landowner. “First and foremost, UGX 350 million is a lot of money. It’s true that Radio’s mother approached me about that issue. I also talked on the phone to the owner of that piece of land, who seemed to be bragging because he knows his land is in demand,” Kenzo told journalists.
The situation has drawn considerable attention after Ms. Kasuubo made a public plea for help. She asked friends and fans of the late Mowzey Radio to help raise the funds needed to secure the land in Kaaga, Wakiso district, where her son is buried.
The appeal has sparked a significant reaction from the public and celebrities alike. Many have expressed concern and support, while others have questioned the situation.
The controversy continues to grow as the public awaits further developments.
