Eddy Kenzo recently addressed social media trolls, stating that karma will ultimately repay those who mock him.
The award-winning artist made these comments in response to ongoing online ridicule, especially following his recent public appearances.
Kenzo’s visit to an oil company alongside his wife and State Minister for Energy, Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro, attracted particular attention.
Photos of the singer wearing protective gear and writing on a piece of paper during the visit quickly went viral. Social media users poked fun at him, with some questioning what he could possibly be jotting down.

Kenzo’s academic background — he dropped out of school in senior two — has long been a source of mockery online, as critics often make jabs about his literacy.
Rather than feeling offended, Kenzo appears to take the humor in stride. He even shared one of the memes, calling it “hilarious.”
In his perspective, much of the ridicule stems from jealousy of his success. In a TV interview, he emphasized that people have a right to express themselves and that, as an entertainer, he understands that this kind of attention comes with the territory.
“Sometimes I also find those memes they draw out of me to be funny,” Kenzo shared. “I’m an entertainer, and that’s one of the ways I can entertain those people. I can’t threaten them with legal action because people have the right to do whatever they want. But if they dare cross the line, then karma will strike back someday.”
While some celebrities might take legal action to counter defamatory remarks, Kenzo said he has no such intentions. Instead, he trusts that karma will address any wrongdoings, noting that the humor people find in him speaks to his influence in Ugandan entertainment.
