BET award winner Eddy Kenzo is the most selling artiste on Ugandan soils at the moment and this has attracted many suitors who think they can add value to the singer.
News reaching us is that the singer recently got an offer from Uganda’s pioneer recording studio, Fenon Records, to do an all-English song for free but turned it down.
According to our well placed sources, Fenon was to write an English song for Kenzo and also produce it. Fenon had a clause to promote and own the song too. However, Eddy Kenzo was quick to trash the deal claiming that it was not how he does his business.
“I can sing in English if I want but not because someone asked me to. I sing for my people not for money makers who seek to exploit others,” he said.
The singer has since done over 4 new songs that are set to be released starting next week.
