The Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) has handed brand ambassadorial roles of it’s new campaign ‘Togobe Corona (Wear a mask) to Ugandan singer and music executive, Eddy Kenzo.

Kenzo took it to his socials to share the bundles of joy with his fans and followers.
“I proudly joined @PSF_Uganda as the ambassador of the #TugobeCorona campaign. Let’s do this together. #WearAMask @Mastercard @ellykaruhanga @RuhakanaR @Ministryofhealth @NBSTV @NTV @DailyMonitor @newvisionwire,” Eddy Kenzo stated.
The ceremony at Kololo Airstrip that saw Eddy Kenzo tasked with new commitments in the health sector was presided over by the Prime Minister of Uganda Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda with an entourage from the Ministry of health.
Other executives at the event featured from Private Sector Foundation Uganda and Mastercard Foundation.
Eddy Kenzo had earlier been spotted in a meeting with Elly Karuhanga, the chairman Private Sector Foundation Uganda sparking rumors about his new gig until when it came to pass.
‘Tugobe Corona/Wear a mask’ campaign is a new initiative that was introduced by PSFU working closely with the Ministry of Health, National Task Force and Mastercard Foundation.
The campaign is aimed at sensitizing and creating awareness among Ugandans to share information on the benefits of wearing a mask and wearing it correctly at all times to keep Covid-19 at bay.
PSFU is Uganda’s apex body for the private sector. It is made up of160 business associations, corporate bodies and the major public sector agencies that support private sector growth.
Since its founding in 1995, PSFU has served as a focal point for private sector advocacy as well as capacity building and continues to sustain a positive dialogue with Government on behalf of the private sector.
Right from its inception PSFU has been Government’s implementation partner for several projects and programmes aimed at strengthening the private sector as an engine of economic growth.
