Big talent lead singer Eddy Kenzo has continued to express his sincere condolences and sympathy for the Mayanja family. A sad Kenzo yesterday left the country before the burial of the deceased.Kenzo left the country for Dallas where he has a concert slated for this weekend.
Talking to us he said, “It is very sad that I will not be burying my brother in music AK 47, I signed a deal to perform in Dallas and failure will make me pay a lot of money for breach of contract so I will have to travel.”
The singer further posted on his Facebook page:
“The industry has lost a true soldier. I extend my condolences to the Mayanja family, my fellow brothers, sisters, relatives and friends of now the late Emma Mayanja (AK 47). May the almighty God (omutonzi) alamuze kisa eri byona ebyasoba mubutamanya bambi. Also to pass on my appology, I won’t be able to make it tomorrow for the burial of our hero. As a nation and industry, we have lost an innocent soul, a boy who had turned into a man of hardwork and a father.
As we speak am on a flight to Dallas having signed a contract that I can’t cancel but I really wanted to be there and say farewell to a brother. Upto now am still lost of the right word to say but to the family am with you at heart and in prayer, take heart and all I ask is the almighty Allah to protect and watch over you, strengthen you for he alone gives and takes. We know that right now our brother is in a much better place and seating with Angels in heaven. We shall always miss him. May his soul RIP.”
Kenzo will later in the year be launching his upcoming album.
