Eddy Kenzo has missed out on a grand opportunity to perform for US President Barack Obama. This is after he backed out from performing at SXSW where Obama was expected to be one of the distinguished guests.
The “Zigido” hitmaker has revealed that he cancelled his performance over health concerns. He posted:
“To my dearest fans in Austin Texas, accept my sincere apologies as I won’t be able to perform at the SXSW 2016 Festival upon doctor’s orders and advice.
Thank you all for your concern too. My health is much better and hope to give you a great show the next time…hopefully soon. Much Love.”
South by Southwest (SXSW) is an annual set of film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States.
