Eddy Kenzo made me what I am today – Kaptain Scooter

Upcoming artiste Kaptain Scooter Kuta real names Hamidu Kateregga, one of the Magic Empire artistes, has come out to shower praises on his mentor Eddy Kenzo for introducing him to the world of music.

While appearing on national television, the singer indicated that had it not been for Kenzo, he would be nowhere as far as his music career is concerned. “I first featured in an artiste’s song when Eddy Kenzo gave me a chance to play a saxophone in his Stamina song and since then I was able to develop my career slowly till where I am today,” Scooter said.

He also added that he is also proud of his fans naming him Uganda’s Davido claiming he resembles the Nigerian music star before he went ahead to reveal his plans of launching his new album on June 4th which has more than eight songs on it such as Mpulila biwulile, Sumulula, Obulamu kiseela among others.
