Eddy Kenzo in LA ahead of the 2023 Grammys

Sensational Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo is already in the United States of America for the 2023 Recording Academy/Grammy Awards.

Eddy Kenzo safely touched down in Los Angeles (LA) on Wednesday and was joined by his fellow nominee, American singer Matthew David Benson aka Matt B.

“I touched down in LA!! Nice to see my great brother Matt B and his wife Angela Benson. We are fired up and ready to take on the GRAMMYs this feb 5th thank you to all of the fans for your prayers and blessings. We see you all, we love you, and we are all in this together,” Eddy Kenzo stated.

Kenzo earned Uganda the first Grammy nomination in 2022 thanks to his collaboration song ‘Gimme Love’ with Matt B.

‘Gimme Love’ song by Eddy Kenzo and Matt B is competing in the category of Best Global Music Performance alongside; Udhero Na by Arooj Aftab and Anoushka Shankar, Last Last by Burna Boy, Neva Bow Down by Rocky Dawuni featuring Blvk H3ro, and Bayethe Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini and Nomcebo Zikode.

If he brings it home, Eddy Kenzo will have become the first Ugandan and East African artist to win the most prestigious and significant award as referred by many.

The 2023 Grammy will air live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 5, 2023.
