International multi-award-winning singer, Edrisa Musuuza aka Eddy Kenzo is still keen on returning home after four months stuck in a foreign land amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The Ugandan born and bread music icon’s cry for government’s intervention to bring him back is still unattended to.
Among one of his latest social media posts, Kenzo has drawn deep desire for being flown back Uganda like it’s being done for other returnees.
“Ndaba flights zileta abantu e’uganda Naye fe nga tetulina yadde esuubi. Mwatwerabira banange,” wrote Eddy Kenzo.

It should be noted that earlier this month, the government of Uganda through its state minister for Foreign Affairs, Henry Okello Oryem, confirmed that there were over 2500 nationals across the globe and in request for their approval to return home.
In reply, the government set costly requirements for their return which included; everyone footing personal flight and quarantine bills on arrival.
On a positive note, majority have agreed with the government guidance and their flights have been guaranteed landing authority at Entebbe International Airport since last week.
In this regard, we are yet to establish Eddy Kenzo’s remarks on the government’s decree despite receiving repeated alarms from his himself and management.
The ‘Tweyagale’ singer is currently struggling to live in Abijan, Cote de Ivoire where he had travelled in March to make some music performances and unfortunately, got locked down after the global Corona Virus Pandemic breakout.
