Ugandan musicians Eddy Kenzo and Levixone’s representation at the maiden Global Music Awards Africa reaped so great.
This is after both artists scooped accolades in their respective categories of nomination.
Eddy Kenzo won the Global Male Act of the Year beating the likes of; Bella Shmurda and Leczy (Nigeria), Mr Leo (Cameroon), and Kuami Eugene (Ghana).
Levixone was announced the winner of the ‘Song of the year’ category for the song ‘Celebrate’ at the virtual 2021 event held in Accra-Ghana.
Under the Global Gospel Song Of The Year category, Lexvione outmatched other star-stabbed names on the continent like; Joe Praize – God Alone (Nigeria), Diana Hamilton – Wasem (Ghana), Minister Michael Mahendere – Revival (Zimbabwe), Empress Gifty – Jesus Over Do (Ghana) and Prosper Ohimana (Nigeria).
The glamorous event placed an incredible standard in this year’s maiden edition 2021.
Global music awards, Africa is an entertainment event seeks to showcase African talent, creativity and award them.
It is arguable the biggest, most anticipated and most prominent entertainment event in Africa.
