Popular dancer Eddie Wizzy who has for long been fighting that dancers be accorded as much respect as musicians was yesterday delighted upon receiving news that he was nominated in Afrimma awards.
The Tabuka hitmaker will be battling with top dancers across the continent like Ezinne CEO from Nigeria, Brenda Derry from Cameroon, Moses Iyobo from Tanzania and Sherie Silva from Rwanda among others.
The excited singer was heard bragging that he is the local dancers’ Martin Luther King since he has spent most of his career fighting for their recognition.
