Ecobank Uganda has unveiled its transformative “KIGGALE ne’ Ecobank Campaign”, offering a 2 installment repayment break at the start of the loan.

This offering allows customers to access salary loans of up to $100,000 (UGX 372 million) and only start paying between April and May 2025, giving them the opportunity to repurpose income in the first two months of their borrowing.

The initiative is designed to empower customers at the start of the year to address the financial strain many face after the holiday season, a time often humorously referred to as “Jan worry”. The campaign will offer timely support for families managing back-to-school expenses, and individuals pursuing their 2025 goals.

Speaking at the launch, Ms. Grace Muliisa, Ecobank Managing Director, said: “The ‘KIGGALE ne Ecobank Campaign’ is more than just a financial offer; it’s a partnership that will help customers jumpstart their 2025 goals without financial pressure.”

The campaign goes beyond the repayment holiday, offering a tailored suite of benefits such as flexible repayment (between 60 – 84 months), zero monthly fees with the Advantage Account, and competitive pricing starting from as low as 15.9%, among others.

With this campaign, Ecobank reaffirms its commitment to being a trusted financial partner, offering innovative and customer-centric solutions. The “KIGGALE ne Ecobank” initiative reflects the bank’s dedication to empowering customers, addressing practical financial challenges, and enabling them to achieve their dreams with ease.
