Driver wins Airtel Uganda “YOOLA AMAJJA” jackpot.

Matia Tamale, a coaster driver from the Ndeeba stage, was the lucky winner of Shs16, 070,000 in Airtel Uganda’s “Yoola Amajja” grand finale.

‘Yoola Amajja’, an Airtel Money campaign was launched on 1st February 2016 and for the past 90 days, subscribers have had a chance to win up to 2,000,000 shillings daily by simply transacting on the efficient and reliable Airtel Money platform.

Amidst excitement and ululations from his friends, Tamale, a Makindye resident, thanked Airtel Uganda for the opportunity of a lifetime. “I received a call from someone at Airtel who informed me that I was the last winner of the Yoola Amajja with Airtel Money promotion. I was so excited and only waited for the time to come and collect money,” he said.

“I am a father of two kids and I have been driving my boss’ car for the last 20 years. Thanks to Airtel, my life will never be the same again,” Tamale added while receiving his cheque from Airtel Uganda ambassador and musician, Eddy Kenzo.

The Airtel Uganda Brand Strategy Manager, Ms. Noela Byuma congratulated everyone who has won throughout the Yoola Amajja campaign, especially Matia. “We launched this campaign to reward the subscribers who were consistently using our platform and over the past 90 days, we have done just that,” she said.

“I encourage all our customers to continue using our reliable, safe and convenient Airtel Money platform as well as all our other products and services that have been specially designed to make their lives better,” Byuma concluded.
