Dr. Jose Chameleone, Uganda’s music heavy weight along with his younger brother AK 47 are set to cheer up fan Malawians with performances starting this Friday, 06th September 2013.
The Badilisha & Champion stars arrived in Malawi on Thursday joining the band members who travelled earlier on. The Malawi tour is just days after Dr. Jose won the African Entertainment Award for “Best International Male Artist”.
He confirmed to his fans in one of his recent tweets saying; “All I do is win win win no matter what…” as he expressed his appreciation for the votes that enabled him to get the 24K gold award.
As if confirming the title for his latest award, the ‘Badilisha’ star has been to Tanzania, Congo, Zambia and now Malawi in just a few weeks and before that, he was in the US for a month on a Badilisha tour.
Prior to the Malawi tour, Chameleone was supposed to perform in Dubai at Dhow Palace, but the organisers were not swift at sorting out the paper work, so he opted for Malawi.
On 11th of September, 2013, he will be in the UK ahead of the Uganda Convention UK 2013 that will be held at Troxy Arena on the 14th of September.
Tonight, Chameleone will be performing some of his hits that include ‘Valu-Valu’, ‘Badilisha’ to mention but a few and AK47 won’t miss out his latest, ‘Nali Simanyi’ at Comesa Hall in Blantyre.
On Saturday, the stars will be prerforming at Mungo Park, Lilongwe and on Sunday, the Malawi tour will be finalised with a performance at Lilongwe Golf Course.
