Media personality Douglas Lwanga has taken to social media to question Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz’s extravagant travel arrangements to Ntungamo for the ongoing Africa Coffee Marathon.

The high-profile event is currently taking place at the Inspire Africa Coffee factory in Ntungamo, and Diamond Platnumz is one of the headline performers for tonight’s festivities.
However, what has sparked public conversation is the singer’s mode of arrival: first flying into Uganda aboard a private jet that landed at Entebbe International Airport, before boarding a helicopter that flew him directly to Ntungamo.
Douglas Lwanga took to his X (formerly Twitter) platform to comment on the matter, expressing both surprise and skepticism at the multi-flight journey.
“Small small coming from TZ, Private jet lands at Entebbe, then a chartered flight straight to Ntungamo. Diamond Platnumz understands branding naye akakasa ani wano banaye?” he posted.
The statement, loosely translated, questions who Diamond is trying to impress with such a grand entrance, despite the obvious intent to boost his personal brand and image.
