Doreen Komuhangi, a host of the Morning Breeze on NBS TV, has warned her fans and the general public to be vigilant when dealing with individuals online. She said that there are lots of impersonators using her names on facebook to con unsuspecting people.
Doreen who co-hosts the Morning Breeze with Sean Kimuli on NBS TV said; “What’s wrong with Ugandan girls, how can someone wake up one day and create an account in someone else’s names then asking for money claiming to be the real person? People should learn on how to behave and work hard rather than waiting for free things.”
She further went ahead to reveal and warn all her fans that; “These days I rarely use social media but I see like four Doreen accounts and I have never asked anyone for money using any of social media platforms. Am calling upon the members of the public to be very careful, don’t be conned, those accounts are for conmen and con women.”
