Dorah Mwima Baraka, a well-known maternal health advocate and former Miss Uganda, has called on the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) to ban media houses from hosting 16-year-old Pretty Nicole.

Mwima expressed her concerns in a passionate social media post, urging the regulatory body to take action.

“Uganda Communications Commission, where are you? Please put a ban on every media house and presenter from hosting that young girl!” Mwima wrote.

Mwima also appealed to the public to intervene and guide Pretty Nicole, suggesting that action must be taken before it’s too late.

She proposed taking away things that the young girl values most as a way to help her understand the consequences of her behavior.

“If that girl is spoilt and wayward, what are we doing as ‘the village’ to raise her? Time for ‘TIME OUT’ & ‘NAUGHTY CORNER’! Ignore her tantrums and bickering! Take away what she thinks is best for her and let reality sink in. We are not here to baby her bad manners! Time for some tough love!” she added.

Pretty Nicole has been in the spotlight since she emerged on social media almost a year ago, gaining attention for her controversial actions and behavior, which many consider inappropriate for her age.

Her latest controversy occurred over the weekend when she appeared as the main vixen in the music video for popular singer Mikie Wine’s latest song, Kankutekemu.

The video has sparked further criticism, adding to public discontent over her repeated portrayal in what many deem sexually suggestive content.

Mwima’s statements have sparked discussions about the role of media and the responsibilities of society in guiding the behavior of young influencers.
